Company Overview
BIA was established as an oil palm plantation company in October 18, 2006. Our plantation is located at Merauke in Papua. PT. BIA became a subsidiary of DAEWOO INTERNATIONAL (now as a name of POSCO DAEWOO) - which has a majority of share – in August 2011. PT. BIA’s business activities broadly include oil palm cultivation and crude palm oil production. Last year marked PT. BIA’s first year to share its sustainable development with the public in a form of releasing an Environmental and Social Report, which includes our sustainable policy, commitment, code of conduct and other sustainable development activities.
